His neck has started looking less irritated, and has improved more quickly than it was before using the therapy light. I can't say that is was due to the laser versus the rest of his treatment, but I was happy enough with the results to keep using as part of his routine. I'm happy with the wuality of the device and would recommend to anyone looking for a convenient at home laser therapy option to complement care.

I really appreciate it when a manufacturer provides a clear set of instructions in an easy to understand format. The cold laser device by Eixio arrived all charged up and ready to go. In the kit are some eye protection which is a good idea to use whenever a laser is being used. I am rehabbing a dog post her CCL procedure and once the swelling went down, I was given the go ahead to start home cold therapy sessions. I also used it on my own dodgy knee too. You can set the laser for multiple different wavelengths and use continuous or pulsed light. It also has a countdown timer so you can see how you are progressing in your session. The laser feels substantial but comfortable in your hand, so it is easy to hold for the session. Overall both my pup and myself are benefiting from use of this cold laser so it has been effective in our household. Everything fits neatly into a carrying case.

Very user friendly and seems effective. Our older dog really relaxes while getting treatment with this. Easy to read LED display. A comfortable grip handle and simple to maneuver. A thoughtful gift idea for dog lovers, especially if they have an older dog. Can also be used on our cats and horses. Safe design.

This EIXIO Cold Laser Therapy Device works well for both dogs and humans! I not only have used this on my dog, but also on myself (I tested on myself first). I love that this comes with everything you need: the cold laser device, the magnetic cap (use this so you can place the device directly on the skin instead of having to hover above the skin), safety glasses, charging cord, instructions, and a nice case to hold it all. This is very easy to use! I love that this came with charts, for both humans and dogs, that specify different injuries and the setting and time you should set the device for. You can select the continuous setting or pulsing setting, there are 3 different strength settings, and you can set the timer anywhere from 5 - 60 minutes (in 5 minute intervals). Because of this it is extremely versatile for many different conditions. The only downside is, if you need to use this for a longer time, the arm that has to hold it in place starts to get tired. I’ve also noticed when using this for a longer period of time, it does get warm and gets a little noisy due to the fan kicking in. Despite it getting warm, this is painless! I love that this device has 3 different wavelengths: 650nm, 808nm, and 980nm. Many devices on the market in this price range do not have 3 different wavelengths. Because of having different wavelengths this can target tissues at different depths. I love that this provides so many different benefits! Cold laser therapy can help with reducing inflammation, increase circulation to the area, speed up healing, and more. But my favorite benefit is the pain relief! It is important to note that you do not see the benefits immediately. It does take consistent use as directed to see benefits. I’ve been struggling with a severely sprained ligament and partially torn tendon. I’ve been doing physical therapy for >1 year and have tried multiple treatments/interventions to try to heal and get rid of the pain. I’ve been using this consistently (twice daily) for a little over a week and already my pain is less. I love that I can avoid medications and use something that helps heal instead of just mask the pain. I would say this is definitely effective when used as directed. I feel the list price of $109.99 is fair. I’ve paid $500 for a course of cold laser therapy treatments through my chiropractor’s office, so a one-time payment of a fraction of the price is a deal. Overall, I’m very happy with this device.

This red laser device is easy to use and has several settings for different purposes. The battery has lasted for over a week of daily use before needing to be charged. It isn't just “cold laser therapy” since even with the protective cap on it gets uncomfortably warm after around 10 minutes. Then the fan kicks on and is surprisingly noisy. Most likely the fan will be the eventual failure point, since the rest seems as durable as expected. I'd like to be able to use this on the dogs, but the beeps scare them and I'm worried the light will hurt their eyes. It'd be great if they'd wear dog goggles long enough to get their itchy skin and stiff joints treated. I did enjoy testing this on some of my own healing scars and muscle cramps. Whether the heat or light helps, at least I feel like the scar tissue is softening after using this daily.

The power of this red-light device is identical to my good-quality red-light face mask, and I confess I didn't get it for my dog. And it's cheaper than comparable devices advertised for humans. It's shaped so that you can aim it just about anywhere you have an ache or a pain without feeling hand or arm discomfort, because the handle is just about perfect to hold on to from any angle. It stays charged for a long time--if I use it once a day, I'm not plugging it in more than once a week. It comes with a clear glass clip-on 'guard' that holds the light about a half-inch away from your skin. That's usually the recommended distance. It's frowned upon to give medical advice when you're not a doctor, so I won't mention the hurts I've used it for, and am using it for right now. I use it because it works! I have shopped and purchased and used red light devices, and this one is so versatile for a fraction of what most are asking.
