Built to manage the heat
A high-output handheld device needs a deliberate thermal design. Eixio combines three cooling elements around its optical and electrical hardware.
Moves air through the enclosure. You may hear the fan during operation; sound-sensitive pets may need a gradual introduction.
The copper-tone metal component helps spread and dissipate operational heat.
Side slots provide an airflow path. Keep them clear of hands, fabric, fur and dust.
A 7000mAh rechargeable battery powers cordless use. Cooling manages heat; it does not make prolonged contact or excessive exposure safe. Stop for uncomfortable heat or pet distress.
Four buttons. You're in control.
A clear countdown display, dedicated controls and adjustable output. Check the current manual for your device version and follow your veterinarian's settings.
Turn the unit on or off. Check the display and the device before every session.
Set the countdown and monitor remaining time. The timer ends the programmed session.
Choose continuous or pulsed operation. Pulsed use may feel cooler; it is not automatically the same delivered dose.
Adjust intensity using the on-device level indicators. Start with the setting advised for your animal.
A practical routine starts with a plan
Use this checklist to discuss a routine with your veterinarian. It is not a condition-specific dose prescription. The manual's 15–20 minute limit per target area is a ceiling, not a required minimum.
| Area / animal | Before you start | During the session |
|---|---|---|
| Senior dog hips / spine | Ask your vet to identify the source of stiffness and appropriate targets. | Use the advised level and mode. Keep the head moving; monitor comfort. |
| Large dog knees / elbows | For post-CCL recovery, get clearance from the surgical team first. | Position comfortably and avoid loading or manipulating the painful joint. |
| Surface wounds / incisions | Have a vet assess the wound. Do not replace cleaning, dressings or prescribed care. | Use only an approved protocol and spacing. Avoid contaminating the aperture. |
| Equine back / tendons | Have your equine vet define the target and rehabilitation plan. | Work with a calm, safely handled horse. A home device is not equivalent to a clinic's HILT system. |
Allow 5–10 minutes of device cooling between areas or pets, and at least 4 hours between complete sessions. Wear appropriate eye protection, never point the laser at eyes, and stop immediately for excessive heat, skin reaction, unusual device behaviour or distress.
